COUNT005 A Side, features the unique and amazing vocal and musical talents of Parvez aka The Dub Factory.
This release, Asian Rockers, marks the start of a creative collaboration between I&I.
Asian Rockers is an anthem for every Asian conscious sound system dub rocker out there and beyond and features the sweet voice of Parvez recounting what is essentially his own story and position in the roots sound system scene.. It's a position which many Asian roots youth in the UK can relate to. The dub version starts with a traditional Indian song improvisation otherwise know as "alap" that is literally hair raising!
The AA Side is as usual, a deep UK Steppers DUB.
A dark and serious raw dubplate mix of Jah Mystic's Jah Mystical Steppah.

(Brief background): The long and fruitful melodic journey of The Dub Factory started in the late 80's in Leicester and since then the musical reach is very wide and fast expanding through heavy touring and countless releases on labels such as The Dub Factory, Scoops and many others!

After years of gigging within the UK and all over Europe Parvez took time off the recording industry to focus on family works.
In the past few years however, he's been extensively touring, singing and releasing again with Vibronics and just last year he released a fresh record on his own label The Dub Factory which has been mashing up conscious dub dance-floors across the world.
